對於今天（1號）上午海軍金江艦誤射雄風三型飛彈的事件，親民黨立法院黨團透過新聞稿發表看法，認為金江艦從今年初發生水兵落水事件以來狀況不斷，艦上幹部管理能力和紀律有問題，認為國防部應該派人進駐徹查，海軍司令部高層應該進駐左營督導一個月，全面檢查所有作業程序和裝備性能。
親民黨同時建議，國安高層應該藉此機會，與對岸和週邊國家建立危機熱線與通報機制，避免因為誤解及意外造成不必要的軍事緊張。
親民黨呼籲，軍方若發現軍官有任何隱匿不報情事，無論層級多高都應勒令退伍、移送法辦，藉此消滅軍中隱惡揚善的惡習，建立實況實報的內部通報紀律。
